  The winger has been linked with a sensational move to Major League Soccer, however, according to , Di Maria is yet to agree on a deal to join Inter Miami. The journalist further claimed that The Herons did approach the player a few weeks ago but they are yet to come up with a formal proposal.

  Di Maria plays alongside Messi at La Albiceleste and shared the dressing room with the superstar for a season at Paris Saint-Germain before he moved to Juventus and then Benfica last summer. His current deal with the Portuguese giants expires on June 30.
